My Story
For years, I worked within traditional pediatric occupational therapy frameworks, helping children improve motor skills, attention, regulation, and daily function. I loved my work, but over time I started noticing something: for some children, progress was slower than expected, and gains didn’t always last.
I knew these kids were capable of more. That’s when I began searching for answers—looking beyond the usual approaches and into what could be done at the foundation of the nervous system. This led me to advanced training in reflex integration, sensory-based movement, and eventually, innovative tools such as low level laser therapy (LLLT) that support the brain’s ability to change and adapt.
Making this shift transformed the way I practice. Children who had plateaued began making new progress, showing improved regulation, and reaching goals their families had once thought were out of reach. I wasn’t just supporting skills anymore—I was helping strengthen the building blocks those skills depend on.
Today, I bring both my clinical experience and a deep curiosity for innovation to every child I work with. I meet them exactly where they are, see beyond the labels, and believe wholeheartedly that their potential is limitless.
My Approach
I believe meaningful change starts by meeting each child exactly where they are—emotionally, physically, and neurologically—and building from there. My work blends proven occupational therapy practices with specialized, evidence-informed techniques that support the brain and body at their foundation.
I use a bottom-up approach, focusing on the underlying systems that drive regulation, attention, learning, and movement. This may include:
Reflex integration to help reduce retained primitive reflexes that may be affecting balance, coordination, focus, reading, handwriting, or emotional regulation
Sensory-based movement to support nervous system regulation and build the foundation for motor skills and learning
Low level laser therapy (LLLT) — gentle, non-invasive light therapy that increases energy and oxygen in the brain while decreasing inflammation
Other innovative tools such as Rezzi Max, EyeLights, vagus nerve stimulation, and vibration plate therapy
Every plan is highly individualized—no two children’s sessions look the same—because every child’s needs, strengths, and goals are different. My role is to uncover what will make the biggest difference for your child, and to provide the right combination of strategies to help them thrive.
